Marok Arabian Stud bought the first Asil mare, being Shams El Farin Saabish (Shams El Farin x Saabana) in 1997 and used Asil stallions like Shari-Silic Akbar, Nafis, Shari-Silic Bakara and Arabest Shaam in the breeding program. At present Marok has 6 Asil mares and 5 Asil stallions out of the above-mentioned Asil mares and stallions which we are very proud of.
Our eldest stallion, being Marok Acamar (Shari-Silic Akbar x Sams El Farin Saabish) was born on 13 August 2004. Marok Acamar is a phenomenal colt with lots of type and all the characteristics of a show and excellent endurance horse (please see the right up under the menu Breeding Gallery).
Marok Acamar has already been introduced to endurance riding. He finished 2 x 60km rides and is now old enough to start riding in the longer distances. We are very proud and very anxious to see how he progresses in the endurance rides.
Marok Acamar has got all the characteristics of a good endurance horse. Strong body, low pulse, good conformation, strong straight legs and big hoofs.
Marok Acamar’s dam is a sister of the world record holder for the fastest 160km in 2008.
Marok Acamar is the Asil Stallion to use to breed endurance and show horses
